These are photos from a site visit I did for work (on Thanksgiving Day), but the Australian bush is so beautiful I had to post the pics. Part of the visit was to Avon Dam. I've never seen a dam quite like this one before.

The Glow Worm Tunnel - this is an abandoned railway tunnel that has little glow worms covering the ceiling and walls. It looks like the Milky Way. Unfortunately, it was too dark for photos of the inside, but the hike to the tunnel was breathtaking too.

The Wombat hole - This poor guy fell victim to a hazard we don't have in the USA. He came into camp with a decked out LandRover...snorkle, wench, four wheel drive...and got stuck in a wombat hole. He had to be towed out. Of course, I had to take pictures.
